Acknowledging weather information during approach uses the ATIS information code. The ATIS broadcasts the latest weather and airport information and is identified by a letter. You respond with “Information” followed by that letter (for example, Information Bravo) to confirm you have the current data. This lets the controller know you’ve received the latest weather information before continuing with approach instructions. Other codes referenced in the choices are not used for this purpose—flight following is a separate service, and there isn’t a distinct “weather advisory” or “environment” code used to acknowledge weather data.
